Connection cost grants

Business connections include all types of business operated from that address, such as limited companies and sole traders. Businesses attract the maximum amount of government funding to cover the installation of the scheme.

B4RN will pass on £150 of this funding to each business connection once it goes live, plus they will waive the £150 connection fee. This amount is to cover the last leg of the installation to and into your property. If you install it yourself you will still receive the payment.

Residential connections cover all dwellings, and attract a smaller amount of governemnt funding to cover the costs of installation, but with 1,600 properties in the valley, it's still a crucial source of funding.

B4RN will pass on £150 of this funding to each residential property once the connection goes live. This amount is to cover the last leg of the installation to and into your property. If you install it yourself you will still receive the payment.

2) Activate your voucher

Once you've signed up, B4RN will register for the relevant voucher on your behalf. You will receive emails from the voucher scheme asking you to confirm that you want a gigabit connection from B4RN, it's essential that you respond to these otherwise your voucher will not be issued.

B4RN will keep you informed through this process.
